Cory is a registered patent attorney who graduated first in his class at Rutgers Law School-Newark in the evening program. Cory was a managing editor of the Rutgers Law Review and president of the Evening Students Association. Cory has worked on foreign and U.S. patent drafting and prosecution in the synthetic organic chemistry, pharmaceutical, and consumer product fields, as well as on trademark matters and administrative litigation. Prior to becoming a patent agent, Cory was a synthetic organic chemist in drug discovery at Merck and Schering-Plough, and he has been an inventor on several patent applications. Cory has a B.S. in biology from Cornell University and a M.S. in nutritional sciences and organic chemistry, also from Cornell. Cory is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Connecticut.
